Being verdant is the promise for a different day, dedicated to comfort and discovery of nature

To nature lovers and adventurers, but at the same time to anyone desires an unusual day, I suggest a bicycle route, to discover environments unique in their kind.

Leaving from Lido Adriano and crossing the Bailey bridge, we magically dive in the ancient Dante's pinewood, where, among Holm-oaks, maritime pines, ash trees, white poplars and rare oriental "carpino", we can even perceive some species of forestal chiropterans.

Following the paths within the pinewood, in just a few minutes we will reach the naturalistic area of Bevano torrent's wild mouth: Adriatico's only intact naturalistic mouth, with swamped meanders among dunes and 5 km of natural beaches where sea pies nest.

Behind the mouth, Ortazzo's brackish pond spreads, with its shallow waters and prosperous vegetation, here you can stare at pure shores' characteristic birds from the top of a small tower and from a bird watching cabin placed along the edge of neighbouring Classe's pinewood.

From here, if we wish to go on, after a fast bicycle ride of about one hour, we can get to Cervia's pinewood, where we shall select between entering butterflies magic world or looking for fantastic birds in the scenery of ancient Cervia's Salt works, Nature Reserve since 1979.
